The young Finnish-Cuban pianist Anton Mejias (b. 2001) is a phenomenon. Fascinated by Bach from an early age, he learned the first book of the Well-Tempered Clavier by the age of 10, and has performed it extensively since then to great critical acclaim. His first album for Deutsche Gramophon – ‘The art of Memory’ – was released in March 2025 and features much of the music you will hear in this recital.
